A new version of the [Enhanced RTMP(v2)](https://veovera.org/docs/enhanced/enhanced-rtmp-v2.html) specification was announced earlier this year and we have one of the features, Multitrack Capabilities, implemented ([!9682](https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/gstreamer/gstreamer/-/merge_requests/9682)) in GStreamer recently (audio only for now though). In this talk, I will briefly introduce the eRTMP specification, and then talk about my experience in adding new capabilities in the GStreamer FLV plugin. I will cover aspects like: - challenges we have seen in extending the FLV muxer and demuxer - the options we considered to address the challenges - how the final implementation took shape - interoperability issues with other implementations - scope for inclusion of other features of the spec
