RidgeRun, sponsored by Texas Instruments (TI), has created more than 20 GStreamer Open Source elements focused on getting the most out of the Jacinto and Sitara ARM based System on Chip, leveraging GStreamer potential to create high performance, zero-copy, and user-oriented applications for object detection, image classification, semantic segmentation, optical flow analysis, single-input / multi-input custom inference pipelines and many more multimedia related applications.
RidgeRun would like to present the open source elements, what they do, how they interact with each other, important design considerations, challenges, performance and applications created. This talk will highlight the process of adapting GStreamer to the embedded world and how it comes to ease and extend the multimedia application development, considering performance budget while getting the most out of the platform, in the rapidly growing edge AI industry.
